With thousands of customers around the world, Secureworks has a comprehensive view of threat activity. The Secureworks Counter Threat Unit (CTU) constantly analyses threat data across our customer base worldwide and actively monitors the cyber threat landscape to provide a global view of cyber threats, zero-day vulnerabilities, and the evolving tactics and techniques of advanced threat actors.

Right now, ransomware attacks are the single greatest threat facing most organisations, and the headlines are full of cases across the world and across industry verticals where organisations are crippled overnight by devastating attacks. The number of ransomware groups is increasing, the volume of attacks is increasing, and average ransom demands are increasing.

Secureworks’ incident response team performs over 1300 incidence response engagements every year, so they see first-hand some of the most devastating attacks behind the headlines. They are often first on the scene when companies are faced with the prospect of their entire IT infrastructure offline, backups destroyed and no clear roles and responsibilities on how to move forward.

Join Secureworks and their CTU’s Director of Threat Research alongside Heads of Information Security for a 90-minute interactive discussion on ransomware, the actors behind it, the tactics they use and the key factors security leaders should be doing to prepare for and prevent ransomware attacks.
